TEFA Families Program

Texas Education Freedom Accounts (TEFA) provide state-funded support for eligible students to receive high-quality tutoring and educational services. North Pointe Learning is an approved TEFA instructional provider.

Who Qualifies

TEFA funding is available to:

  • Students enrolled in Texas public and private schools

  • Students with an IEP (higher award amounts)

  • Homeschool students (limited award)

Families apply through the TEFA portal and receive an annual award to use for approved educational services.

For Hybrid Homeschool Families

Many TEFA families participate in weekly homeschool cooperatives or classical education communities. These programs are not TEFA‑recognized schools, so parents should select:

during TEFA opt‑in.

North Pointe Learning provides:

  • Weekly assignment support

  • Memory work reinforcement

  • Writing, grammar, and math tutoring

  • Structure for hybrid homeschool schedules

  • Gentle academic guidance

Alignment With Our Private Tutoring Packages

Our TEFA tutoring follows the same session structure as our private tutoring packages. TEFA families do not pay out of pocket. All TEFA-funded tutoring is billed directly through Odyssey at TEA-approved rates.
